ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has seized the record of two energy agreements from the offices of Interstate Gas Company (ISGC) to expand investigation against former minister Dr Asim Hussain.
The agreements include $1.18 billion Iran-Pakistan pipeline and liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal,which were seized from the offices of the subsidiary of the petroleum ministry. During Dr Asim Hussain’s tenure, the ISGC processed the import of $1.18b Iran-Pakistan (IP) gas pipeline. PPP leader Dr Asim Hussain has already been remanded on terrorism-related charges.
