ISLAMABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate Islamabad has collected Rs 189.61 million in the term of customs duty from January to August 2015.
According to the details, the collectorate had collected Rs 227.35 million in the column of customs duty during the same corresponding period of the year 2014. The figure shows department observed a decline of 16 percent during the 2015.
On the other hand, the MCC Islamabd had achieved its target in the term of customs duty a month prior to the completion of the last fiscal year 2014-15 as it had collected Rs 4.449 billion against Rs 4.426 billion target. It had collected Rs 2.883 billion as customs duty during the fiscal year 203-14.
