RTO’s education wing briefing taxpayers on WHT‏

MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax Office Multan is also awaking taxpayers about the imposition of withholding taxes on banking transactions through their education wing.

The Regional Tax Office Multan is educating people about the imposition of tax through their education wing program .There would be no withholding taxes imposed on the filers on banking transactions of their taxes .

Facilitation and Education  wing of  FBR has displayed the messages on the billboards in Multan City to inform them that tax filers would not pay any withholding taxes and this imposition of withholding taxes are on the non-filers only.

People should file their tax returns immediately in order to take exemption from withholding taxes on banking transactions of more than Rs 50, 000.

The FBR is also advertising that paying taxes is the sole responsibility of the taxpayers in order to take facilities of taxpayers.
