Rupee remains firm against US dollar

KARACHI: Pakistani rupee Thursday remained stable against US dollar in both open market and interbank.

According to the currency dealers, the local unit did not show any variation for the buying and selling of the dollars, as there was neither payment nor buying pressure witnessed in the market. In open market, the rupee was traded at 102.95, while in interbank, it was traded at 102.7 against the greenback. On Wednesday, US dollar gained 5 paisa in open market and reached 102.95, however, remained unchanged in interbank at 102.7.
