KARACHI: Model Customs Colectorate Gawadar (MCCG) confiscated smuggled goods worth millions of rupees during a crackdown.
According to sources, Customs conducted different raids and confiscated 12,876 litters of Irani diesel, 1400 Irani tiles, and a smuggled generator with a capacity of 300 kilowatts.
According to the sources, the confiscated goods are worth Rs 5.2m, in which Irani diesel worth Rs 1.4m, Irani tiles worth Rs 300,00 and generator worth of Rs 3.5m.
Sources further said that importers and local traders were complaining over the issue of smuggled tiles from Iran.
