FTO keen to utilize OICOA forum for improvement

ISLAMABAD: The secretariat of Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) wants mutual expertise with Association of Ombudsmen of Islamic Countries (OICOA), to ensure redresses complaints and justice.

In this regard, FTO secretariat Pakistan is already on board with eight brotherly member Muslim states of Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC).

Sources told Customs Today, that organization not start its function properly; however, whenever it would start its proper functions, office of the Tax Ombudsman Pakistan will take part the organization warmly to enhance cooperation with fellow countries.

As per details, OIC Ombudsman Association (OICOA) Pakistan effortlessly participated to establish the OICOA. The idea materialized in a conference on Networking of Ombudsman of OIC Member States held at Islamabad in April 2014.

The main focus of the Association is to share expertise of member countries among all untilizing modern and less-expensive techniques for tax collecting offices.
