ISLAMABAD: Muhammad Tanvir Akhtar Malik will assume the charge of Chief Management Headquarters of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) today.
He was director of the Directorate General of Intelligence and Investigation (Inland Revenue), Islamabad, and was transferred on 15 October. He will replace Dr Bashirullah Khan (Inland Revenue Service/BS-20).
The office has a vital importance as it deals with all appointments, postings and transfers from Grade-1 to 16. Moreover, personal evaluation reports and asset declaration of all customs and Inland Revenue officials are also compiled here.
