FIA arrests four suspects involved in human trafficking

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested four suspects who are allegedly involved in human trafficking.

Sources told Customs Today that all the above mentioned human smugglers were required in a number of cases registered against them in Lahore, Gujranwala and Sheikhupura. The arrested accused are identified as Riaz, Zaigham, Kashif, and Taufiq.

Sources further said that the FIA has also seized a number of passports, visa stickers and other travel documents from their custody.

While on the other hand, the Customs authorities during a  operation at Allama Iqbal International Airport arrested two auto parts smugglers and seized huge quantity of auto parts from their possession. The names of accused are Tariq and Jahangir and they both were bound to travel to Bangkok. The Customs authorities have registered a case against them.
