LAHORE: Spreading its campaign against corrupt elements to Punjab, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Punjab has started probe against Provincial Minister for Education Rana Mashood.
NAB Punjab DG Syed Burhanuddin said that there were several allegations of corruption against the minister including the video scandal and youth festival cases.
In August 2014 video of Mashood surfaced in which he was allegedly involved in corrupt activities. He has also been accused of financial irregularities in the Punjab Youth Festival. The NAB had started collecting evidence into the video scandal and decided to launch a formal inquiry after proof pertaining to the case was found.
