LAHORE: The marketing companies have again hiked the prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in a week by Rs10 per kg and Rs120 per domestic cylinder and Rs480 per commercial cylinder.
LPG Distributors Association Pakistan Chairman Irfan khokhar, in a statement, alleged that the Ogra is not taking action against LPG mafia, adding that the second increase in just one week is unjustified.
He said that the LPG marketing companies were doing black marketing and earning illegal profiteering of Rs2 billion per day. “Government owned LPG distribution companies such as Sui Southern Gas, PARCO and PSO take lead in raising the price. They are also involved in black marketing and earning illegal profiteering.”
