LAHORE: Thee Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) team, during a crackdown in Sahiwal, has arrested many who were running a forged private bank.
Sources told Customs Today, that the FIA raided a private bank and arrested its employees, while its owner who was identified as Kashif fled away. The bank employees, during investigations, told the FIA officials that the bank did not have any necessary documents from the State Bank nor the bank is linked with other banks of the area.
They collected huge amount from customers through Haj applications and other marketing channels. The staff of the bank says that they were employed in the bank after paying huge amount to its owner who is still at large. The FIA brought all the arrested employees of the forged bank to Lahore while further proceedings are in progress.
