US Lacey Chamber announes Sierra Burton as new executive director

ALASKA:Sierra Burton is the new executive director of the Lacey South Sound Chamber of Commerce.Burton, 26, replaces Stephanie Hemphill, who left the chamber in June to take a job with the Association of Washington Business. Lacey South Sound Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Sierra Burton.

Burton said during the Lacey City Council work session that she has three goals for the chamber: to spur economic growth, to work closely with Lacey’s military community and to get the chamber involved in the community beyond the business community.On the economic development front, she plans to meet regularly with Michael Cade, executive director of the Thurston Economic Development Council, Burton said.
