ALABAMA: Michelin USA Representatives stopped by Troy University’s Dothan campus this with a check for $150,000.School officials plan to use that money to help build an entrepreneur center at the Dothan campus.Troy University officials are also working with Wallace Community College, Aecom, the chamber of commerce and local businesses on this effort.
“It’s our responsibility to really develop this entrepreneur center in a way that it benefits the community on multi-levels which will be not only encouraging entrepreneurship but helping to create a community within the Wiregrass area where entrepreneurs can get together, they can and they can develop,” said Troy University-Dothan’s Vice Chancellor. The project is expected to cost about $9 million, and officials are hoping to break ground in the fall.
