ABUJA: A judge could decide today whether to find a Niagara Regional Police officer guilty in a cheese and chicken wing smuggling ring.
The trial of Constable Scott Heron ended yesterday in a Welland court.
Last month, another Niagara cop Casey Langelaan was fined $15,000 for his part in the smuggling scheme.
During his trial, court heard, the cheese was sold to restuarants in Aylmer and Dorchester at a profit of more than $50,000.
