LAHORE: The local business community has paid tribute to the Pakistan security forces for foiling terrorists bid to make attack on Pakistan Air Force base in Peshawar the biggest one.
Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Ijaz A. Mumtaz, Senior Vice President Mian Nauman Kabir and Vice President Syed Mahmood Ghaznavi said that security forces have once again proved that they would not allow the anti-Pakistan elements to take hostage the innocent people. They said that their precious blood would not go waste. They said that whole nation stands united behind the armed forces and would not hesitate in offering any sacrifice to remove the menace of terrorism.
Ijaz A. Mumtaz said that by hindering the attack at PAF base Peshawar, the Pak Armed Forces have made it clear to the world that they have all abilities to confront any sort of challenge. He said that Security Forces and masses are ready to defend every inch of the country.
The LCCI President stressed the need of unveiling those who are helping the terrorists and all segment of society should play their role to this regard. He said that the government needs to review its policy on terrorism to curb this menace once for all. He urged the government to convene a roundtable of all the political parties and business community to make a consensus policy to cope with terrorism.
