The man from Shanghai was refused entry at Los Angeles International Airport on September 16.

Melissa Maraj, an official with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, confirmed the man’s visa had been inadmissible but refused to reveal the reason based on the privacy law.

World Journal said the man was rejected for his uncivilized behavior record in Europe, citing an unidentified source.

The Chinese tourist administration has kept records of uncivilized tourists since last year. It’s still unknown whether the administration shared such records with the U.S.

But another source said it was because of his suspicious activity within the country.

A local tourism insider who required anonymity said the man had applied for an extension twice. Both applications got permission.

Generally, a person gets refused entry based on criminal records, tax arrears, or unpaid fines. If a person has settelment or work intensions while on a tourist visa, he could get deported, or even have his visa revoked.
