LONDON: Google is almost ready to unveil two long-awaited Nexus smartphones. The company will be revealing the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P, being designed by LG and Huawei respectively.

We’ve seen a ton of leaks already, with both devices set to have rear-mounted fingerprint scanners and USB Type-C.

As for power, expect a Snapdragon 808 processor on the 5X and a Snapdragon 810 chip on the 6P.

Both devices are rumoured to have capable camera pairings too, while the 5X is expected to pack a 5.2-inch full HD display and the 6X is set to have a 5.7-inch 2560×1440 display.

Android Police is also claiming that the larger 6P will have a rather big 3450mAh battery.

But Google will also be facing stiff competition from other smartphones, such as Sony’s Xperia Z5 range, the new Samsung Galaxy range and the 2015 Motorola Moto X lineup.
