ISLAMABAD: Observing the declining trend in global oil prices, the government has decided to decrease local prices of petroleum products from November 1.

According to sources in Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the price of petrol is expected to decrease by Rs4.5 per litre, high-speed diesel by Rs5.00, kerosene oil by Rs5.80 and Hi-Octane by Rs 6.00 per litre. However, the relief might not be passed on to the consumers if value of Pakistani rupee continues to depreciate in the days ahead.
