KARACHI: With the aim to improve agriculture productivity among small and medium farmers, the provincial government, in collaboration with World Bank, has launched Rs30 billion Sindh Irrigated Agriculture Productivity Enhancement Project (SIAPEP).
Under the project, the government would line 5 thousand 500 water courses. An amount of over 922 million rupees has been earmarked for providing more than one thousand lasers for land leveling and deep ripping. More than one billion rupees will be spent on improved agriculture production technologies.
