MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue Regional Tax Office Multan is going to launch crackdown against traders dealing in electronics goods and are involved in tax evasion.
According to details, Regional Tax Office Multan held a special meeting with traders of electronic goods in Multan to discuss tax collection matters. Electronic markets are among the major markets of Multan and electronic dealers have millions of sales daily but they do not pay taxes according to their sales.
Sources told Customs Today that Regional Tax Office Multan has decided to examine their tax returns in order to reshape strategy against them.
Electronic shops exists in Hussain Agahi, Ganta Ghar, Cantt and Gulgasht will be monitored through the teams of Regional Tax Office Multan.
Federal Board of Revenue Regional Tax Office Multan started investigations against them that electronic traders are not paying taxes according to their sales.
