Customs Faisalabad seizes smuggled blankets

FAISALABAD: Customs Intelligence and Investigation impounded smuggled foreign origin blankets packed in polythene bags. The market value of confiscated blankets are estimated around Rs 10,00,000/-.

Sources told Customs Today, that Additional Director Customs Faisalabad Mrs. Azmat Tahira received credible information regarding above said blankets. Upon which she constituted a raiding team comprising Muhammad Tahir iqbal (SIO ), Muhammad Saleem, Mansoor Nasir, Farzand (IO), Masood Iqbal, Ghulam Ghous, Muhammad Iqbal Mukhtar Ahmed (sepoys ),

The Intelligence and investigation team seized blankets from the premises of M/S Shahzad and Ali Cargo Service, Jhang Road Faisalabad.

The customs team asked the accused person namely Muhammad Ejaz and Habib Adnan to produce legal documents regarding possession of blankets but the failed to produce the same. The Customs team arrested both accused persons and seized the blankets.
