LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended application submission date for the vacant post in Customs Department across the country.
According to a circular issued by the FBR, competent authority has extended the date for the submission of applications by the applicants for the vacant posts for a period of 15 days till 18.10.2015. The further procedure of recruitment i.e test will be taken by the National Test Service (NTS) accordingly.
The sources said that the FBR has to extend the date for the submission of application for applicants could not submit their applications due to the Eidul Azha.
The post have been vacant for a long period of time in various departments of Customs Including Post Clearance Audit, Appraisement, preventive in Lahore Karachi, Islamabad and other cities.
