ACE computerizes record of 10.000 cases

SIALKOT: Anti Corruption Establishment (ACE) computerized official record of as many as 10,000 corruption cases and made it online, enabling the people check online the present status of their application  submitted for registration of cases against corrupt officials of different departments , their pending inquiries and cases  during a period of the last five years.

Regional Director ACE Gujranwala Rana Shehzad Saeed told Customs Today that it was a major achievement that the record of above-mentioned 10,000 cases has been made online by ACE under the supervision of Assistant Director ACE Gujranwala Saadia Nawaz during a stipulated period of three months. He said that now everyone could easy access to these ACE cases.

He said that the people belonging to Gujranwala Division’s all the six Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Mandi Bahaud Din, Hafizabad and Gujranwala districts submitted as many as 10,000 applications before ACE for registration of their cases against the corrupt officials of different government departments  during the last five years here, out of which as many as 1000 cases of fraud, embezzlement and malpractice were registered against the different accused  government officials , while the rest 9000 applications were disposed off, in this regard.
