PORTLAND: Oregon police seized 12.5 pounds of methamphetamine through two separate traffic stops in the past three days in Portland.
Two men were arrested in the stops that, in total, yielded about $227,000 worth of meth.
Police arrested Jaime Hurtado Sanchez after 4.5 pounds of meth was found in his vehicle. Sanchez, 32, was booked into Clackamas County Jail on charges of delivery and possession of meth. He is being held on $50,000 bail.
Days later, police arrested Jesus Felipe Florez-Meza after 8 pounds of meth and a handgun were found in his vehicle. Florez-Meza, 50, was booked into Multnomah County Jail on charges of deliver and possession of meth. He is being held on $260,000 bail.
