ISLAMABAD: The Special Court of Anti-Narcotics has sentenced four years and eight months imprisonment to drug smuggler, Muhammad Naseer, besides imposing a fine of Rs 20,000 on him.
According to the details, the ANF team had arrested the culprit and recovered 1.5 kilograms of high quality heroin from his possession at Benazir International Airport Islamabad while searching his baggage.
The case was forwarded to the court with a complete challan. After the trial, the court sent the accused to jail for over four years as he was proved guilty in the case.
Meanwhile, official added that the ANF will destroy the drugs worth billions of rupees on October 15, 2015 (today). They said all drugs were confiscated last year.
