FBR union meeting on inspectors’ promotion tomorrow

LAHORE: The Federal Revenue Alliance Employees Union will hold meeting on Wednesday to discuss promotions of FBR inspectors and related issues.

The Alliance has invited all FBR inspectors to attend the meeting and give their suggestion on issue. It is pertinent to mention that authority of promotion and appointments of FBR regional offices has been given to the regional chiefs and the heads. Now the promotion and appointments will be made by the regional heads and chiefs.

Earlier, all the regional transfers and postings were decided at the Board which sparked resentment among the employees as for the trivial matters even the employees were dependent on the FBR head office decisions.
