Faisalabad Customs Adjudication recovers Rs 36.5m in September

FAISALABAD: Collectorate of Customs Adjudication Faisalabad collected Rs 36.54 million while deciding almost 31 cases during September, 2015.

The adjudication issued Orders-in-Original (ONOs) in all cases in favour of Anti-Smuggling Organisation (ASO) and Customs Intelligence and Investigation.

The department heard cases of smuggled oil, cloth, tea, auto parts, Iranian diesel, Rani juice, Toyota Corolla and other item during the said period.

According to the details, the Customs Adjudication Collector Tahir Majeed decided a case involving Rs 15.89 million, while Additional Collector Bilam ur Rehman settled seven cases involving Rs 11.10 million.

Meanwhile, assistant collector Customs Adjudication resolved 23 cases involving Rs 9.95 and announced decision in favour of Customs Investigation and Intelligence during September, 2015.
