KARACHI: The Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO) of the Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Hyderabad has foiled an attempt of smuggling and confiscated smuggled Iranian diesel and impound two vehicles.
According to the sources, a four-member team headed by Assistant collector ASO has confiscated 17,000 litter Iranian diesel worth Rs 1.7 million.
Sources said that Customs Hyderabad raided Khanzada filling station Khairpur and impounded a tanker loaded with 13,000 litter Iranian diesel while in other raids on super highway Customs Hyderabad seized two Suzuki Pothohar engines and 4,000 litter Iranian diesel.
