ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday issued notices to parties while hearing over a dozen cases related to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and its field offices.
The IHC Division Bench, comprising of Justice Shuakat Aziz Siddiqui and Justice Athar Minallah, issued the notices. The bench heard 19 different cases and issued notices to those who did not appear before the bench for regular hearing.
The court directed the complainants and respondents to appear before the bench, either in-person or through their counsel.
Out of 19, five cases were filed by Commissioner Inland Revenue (Legal) and 14 Commissioner of Income Tax.
