FBR Chairman Tariq Bajwa to award ‘Appreciation letter’ to Mir Badshah Khan Wazir

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Tariq Bajwa has announced to award “letter of appreciation” to Commissioner Inland Revenue Audit Mir Badshah Khan Wazir.

Sources told Customs Today that decision to award “appreciation letter” to Mir Badshah Khan Wazir was taken after examining his outstanding performance. A function is also being held today at Conference Room of the FBR Headquarters in which all members of Federal Board of Revenue will take part.

It is pertinent to mention here that Mir Badshah Khan Wazir joined Large Taxpayers Unit as Commissioner in September 2015, before his current assignment he also served as additional director in directorate general intelligence and investigations Islamabad. He also served in Karachi. During his tenure he successfully unearthed bogus cigarettes manufacturing companies who were causing a loss of billions of rupees to national exchequer.

Sources said that Chairman FBR Tariq Bajwa decided to awards “appreciation letters” to officials who will show outstanding performance in duties in future also.
