MULTAN: Construction of a new check post Sadiqabad unit of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan region has been in progress and it will be completed at the end of this year, reported Customs Today.
According to Customs sources, Customs is constructing a new check post in Sadiqabad to curb the smuggling funded by a tobacco company. It is expected that the check post will be completed till Dec. 31, 2015 and it wil
[five_sixth_last]l be operational in the first month of the next year.
Tobacco Company has given Rs 5 million to Customs intelligence for purchasing the land as well as for the construction of the check post. The land has been purchased for Rs 2.9 million whereas the total estimate of the construction of check post is Rs 3.1 million.
