ISLAMABAD: The Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet (ECC) has given approval for the provision of 64,000 metric tons of wheat to the United Nations WFP for TDPs of FATA and KP.
ECC grants approval of the extension of 0.3% reduced rate of withholding tax on non-filers up to 7th November, 2015, according to press release issued by Ministry of Finance here on Thursday.
ECC approves the levy of 10% RD on the import of cotton yarn, grey and processed fabrics of cotton in order to protect the local industry. ECC grants approval for the issuance of sovereign guarantee against financing facility of Rs18 billion for Thar- Matyari Transmission Line project.
