Audit Director Suhail Arshad seizes data of 6 excise inspectors

LAHORE: Special audit of the Excise and Taxation Department’s Motor Branch has been started and Enforcement Audit Director Suhail Arshad has seized computer data of six excise inspectors.

The officials include Zakaullah, Abdullah, Nazeer Bhatti, Chaudhry Shafique and Jahangir. The Excise and Taxation Department high-ups started the special audit after receiving complaints of corruption and irregularities against these inspectors. Audit of more inspectors will be conducted after the completion of audit against the six accused officials.
