84 Faisalabad Customs officials assigned duties for LB polls

FAISALABAD: In order to conduct the local bodies elections in Faisalabad, at least 84 officials of the Model Customs Collectorate Faisalabad have been assigned duties at different polling stations by keeping them away from the basic anti-smuggling and tax collection duties.

The officials, including deputy superintendent, superintendent, inspectors, sepoys and head clerks, performed duties during the LB polls till November 2, 2015.

According to the details, seven superintendents (BS-16) namely as Mukhtar Hussain, Muhammad Javed Mehmood, Safder Iqbal, Zahid Raza Bukhari, Masood Afzal Khan Lodhi, Javed Hussain Sherazi, and Muhammad Boota, while two examiners (BS-16) named Muhammad Jamil Ahmad and Shafqat Rasool were assigned task for elections.

However, 39 inspectors named as Iffitkhar Ahmed, Muhammad Yousaf, Muhammad Ramzan, Ghulam Murtaza Anjum, Baber Hussain, Mehar Ameer Ali, Nadeem Iqbal Bhatti, Asif Hussain, Muhammad Afzal Awan, Ghulam Muhammad, Muhammad Afzal, Muhammad Akram, Zulfiqar Ali, Abaydullah, Qazi Muhammad Shoaib, Mansoor Alam, Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Ansar Saleemi, Irfan Idrees, Muhammad Khalid, Bashir Ahmad, Abdul Jabbar, Masood Saeed Chohan, Abdul Nasir, Mujahid Abbas, Amjad Iqbal, Faizi Raza, Shah Qaswar Freed, Munir Ahmed, Muhammad Arshad, Muhammad Riaz, Khalid Mehmood, Bashir Hussain, Zulfiqar Ali, Abdul Rashid, Safdar Ali, Muhammad Munir Ahmad, and Khalid Ashraf Noor also performed duties.

Deputy assistant chemical examiners (DACEs) including Muhammad Rehan Ashraf, Muhammad Nadeem Yousaf, Dilawar Hussain, Zahid Pervaiz, M. Anwar Pervaiz and Sardar Muhammad, while six head clerks (BS-14) named as Waseem Hassan Akhtar, Hassan Ahmad, Ijaz Ahmad, Ali Akbar Khan and Syed Latif ur Rehman performed duties at polling stations.

Meanwhile, upper division clerks including Muhammad Riaz, Muhammad Salam, Khadim Hussain, Liaqat Khan, Gulzar Ahmad, Abdul Sattar, Bashir Ahmad, Shamsher Hussain, Muhammad Nazim, Sikander Hayat, Abdul Qudous Khan, Dawood Ahmad, Asif Ali and Muhammad Arshad Farooq were deputed for holding elections.

On the other hand, ten lower division clerks including, Tahir Sohail, Roshan Sattar, Rashid Ahmed, Qaswar Ali, Nasir Ahmad, Muhammad Ilyas, Ghulam Muhammad, Faraz Arshad, Zeshan Dilawar and Muhammad Ibrar were sent on election duties.
