MUMBAI: Toyota Kirloskar Motors launched the facelifted version of the Land Cruiser 200 SUV in India at a price of 1.29 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). There are a few changes to the exterior and the Japanese company has also added more features inside the car.
The exterior of the Toyota Land Cruiser 200 gets a new hexagonal grille, LED headlamps, restyled tail-lights and redesigned alloy wheels. In fact, the SUV looks even more imposing now with elevated horizontal character lines, the new three-slat grill and chrome garnish that extends horizontally across the LED headlamps.
There are a few changes in the feature list as well, which include a new steering wheel with heater, tyre pressure monitoring system, a larger and more advanced 4.2-inch audio-video infotainment system, enhanced multi-terrain monitor cameras and LED illuminated entry system, among other goodies. How much use a heated steering wheel has though, with respect to India’s climatic conditions, is anybody’s guess.
