Multan Customs seizes smuggled goods worth Rs30m

MULTAN: Customs Intelligence and Investigations (I&I) Multan has seized two truckloads of smuggled items near Sakhi Sarwar area of district Dera Ghazi Khan, officials said Monday.

Customs officials said that the trucks were caught late last night and tyres, welding rods and different auto parts were recovered during the search. Both the trucks, their drivers and helpers were given in custody of Sakhi Sarwar police and they would be in the custody of Customs I&I Multan within next two days after completion of legal procedure.
