Faisalabad Customs seizes crinkle cloth

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Customs intelligence and investigation has seized foreign origin crinkle cloth. The market value of the seized cloth is Rs 5,28,726 which also involves taxes and duty amounting to Rs 301,161.

Sources told Customs Today, that Additional Director Customs Intelligence and Investigations Faisalabad Ms Azmat Tahira received credible information regarding smuggling of above said cloth. The Customs team raided near Azad Hakeem Goods Transport Company, Jhang Road, Faisalabad and found smuggled Cloth there which was booked against Bilty No 4255 (Consigner Abdul Jabbar consignee Moti print).

The customs team asked accused person namely Muhammad Anwar Khan (Munshi), of the Adda Azad Hakeem Goods Transport Company,  Jhang Road Faisalabad to produce legal documents regarding possession of clot, but he failed to provide the same.
