Islamabad Customs to auction seized goods after Muharram

ISLAMABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate Islamabad has decided to auction the confiscated goods after court’s decision.

A letter has been sent to Collector Zaiba Hai for approval. The price of the goods is in millions. The auction will take place after Muharram holidays at Sector G-12 custom collectorate warehouse. The goods are being auctioned as the collectorate is out of space. The seized goods contain cars, electronics, cloth, auto parts, tyres, cosmetics and mobile phones. The appraisement of the products will be done after the collector’s approval. It will be advertised in newspapers after the completion of process. Different conditions have been settled for auction participants. They have to deposit some amount in the beginning.
