Koraput: Four persons were arrested by forest oficials at Boipariguda in Odisha’s Koraput district for allegedly smuggling teak wood, officials said today.
The arrest was made when the accused persons were smuggling the timber in two multi-utility vehicles from Ramagiri reserve forest yesterday, they said.
The vehicles were seized and forest personnel intensified patrolling in the reserve forest area after the seizure, said Uma Mahesh, forest range officer of Boipariguda.
