MULTAN: The Excise and Taxation Department will dispatch notices of one percent fine to property tax defaulters as well as the officials will seal the properties as the last date for five percent discount offered on property tax has expired on October 31, 2015.
According to sources, Officials have been compiling the lists of property tax defaulters throughout the Punjab including Multan on the special instructions of the higher authorities.
The lists will be prepared within a week and the department will start to dispatch the notices to the defaulters with one percent fine on property tax and the ratio of fine will keep increasing each month.
