Galaxy Alpha’s 720P screen gives tough time to iPhone 6, Note 4

TOKYO: With the latest launch of Samsung’s offering, tech savvy are now wondering whether it is a smart choice to get the new Alpha or not, as the Galaxy Alpha contains many features.

The Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a 720P resolution with a 4.7-in screen. It’s packed with a Super AMOLED panel giving its users an extremely vivid display. The iPhone 6 on the other hand has a 5.5-inch screen for its Plus variant. As compared with the Note 4, the new iPhone only has a 1920×1080 pixel resolution with Retina HD IPS LCD display.

The Galaxy Alpha has a 12MP camera and boasts of producing better looking images under low light conditions. Meanwhile, the iPhone 6 Plus boasts of a 8MP rear camera with the true tone flash and a 1.2 front camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Alpha can run for a maximum of 12-13 hours.”In real world testing we found the iPhone 6’s battery lasted 35 hours of low mixed usage (including standby) and 14 hours of heavy usage, with the brightness set to 50%,”
