KATRA: Continuing its drive against liquor in the holy town, Katra Police has arrested one more smuggler and seized 100 poly pouches of J&K Excise Liquor from his possession.
The accused, identified as Jugal Kumar of Vijaypur, Reasi, was intercepted by a Police team headed by SHO Katra, Inspector Kuldeep Krishan, under the supervision of SDPO Dr Ashok Sharma and Addl SP Sumir Kotwal during special patrolling at Counter No.02 Katra.
The accused was smuggling liquor pouches in his Maruti Van, bearing registration No.JK20/7121. Police seized the liquor pouches and arrested the accused besides registering a case in this connection.
