LAHORE: Pakistan Sugar Mills Association (PSMA) has rejected Punjab sugar factories control ordinance.
PSMA argued government that it announce the equal price of sugarcane in three provinces including Punjab, Sindh and KPK for coming crushing season, otherwise the mills will not be able to pay farmer timely.
Yesterday, Chairman PSMA Punjab zone told that the government bounded mills owners for the purchasing the sugar cane on prescribed rate besides the prices of sugar cane in Punjab and Sindh are different and price in Punjab is less as compared to Sindh.
