Mianwali ASO seizes smuggled ceramic tiles‏

FAISALABAD: The Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) Mianwali seized foreign origin ceramic tiles. The market value of seized ceramic tiles are Rs 28,40000/-.

Sources told Customs Today deputy collector Anti Smuggling Organization Falik Shair received credible information regarding smuggled ceramic tiles.

After receiving information ASO collector immediately constituted a raiding team comprising Muhammad Safder Ali (inspector), Muhammad Saifullah, Muhammad Ghulam Mohyuddin, Faiz Ahmed Sher Ahmed, Saeed Rasool, Nuhammad Yousaf (sepoys). Muhammad Nazim, Shamshair Hussain.

The ASO team seized smuggled ceramic tiles near Musa Khail by-pass pindi Road District Mianwali. The ASO staff asked the accused person to  produce any documentary evidence showing the legal import and lawful possession of ceramic tiles but he failed to provide the same.

The ASO team seized the tiles and registered a case against the accused persons.
