KARACHI: Six ships carrying containers, cement, chemical diesel oil and LPG Mix were berthed at Qasim International Containers Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal, Fotco Terminal and SSGC Terminal respectively.
Meanwhile six more ships carrying Containers, Cement, Diesel Oil and Furnace Oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim (PQ) during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 85% at the Port on Friday where total eight ships namely CGM Columbia, MSC Judith, Ikan Sembak, Ikan Salmon, Pavian, Atlantik Glory, Al Salam II and White Puri are currently occupying berths to load/ offload Containers, cement, Soyabeen, Chemical, Diesel oil and LPG Mix respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 106903 tonnes comprising 76181 tonnes imports and 30722 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 2298 containers (TEUs) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
