US: 2 arrested, drugs seized in Dearborn County raid

DEARBORN COUNTY: Two brothers were arrested and multiple types of drugs were seized during a drug raid in Dearborn County.
Brothers Michael Peters, 50, and Bryan Peters, 49, were arrested on numerous charges. Officers said their arrests followed a lengthy investigation by Indiana State Police and drug agents in Hamilton County.
Indiana State Police served a warrant Friday morning at the brothers’ home in the 100 block of South State Street. Troopers said they found methamphetamine, heroin, prescription drugs, marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside.
Michael Peters was arrested on an arrest warrant for two counts of dealing methamphetamine and two counts of maintaining a common nuisance. As a result of the search warrant, police said he was also charged with dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, dealing heroin, possession of heroin, possession of controlled substances, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
Bryan Peters was arrested on a warrant for one count of dealing heroin and one count of maintaining a common nuisance. As a result of the search warrant, he was also arrested on charges of possession of heroin and maintaining a common nuisance.
The pair was booked in the Dearborn County Jail. Bonds have not been set.
