Export of gold on fake E-forms: Customs Court seeks reply from Customs prosecutor

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) directed the customs prosecutor to submit his reply to bail petitions of the suspects who are behind bars for their alleged involvement in the cases pertaining to the export of gold worth billions of rupees on fake E-forms.  A single bench comprising Justice Salahuddin Panhwar adjourned the hearing after issuing notice to the customs prosecutor to file comments before the next hearing.

Sajid Abdul Qadir, Hanif Musa and Kashan Iqbal approached the high court seeking their release on bail after the trial court dismissed their bail pleas.

Wajahat Minhas, Muhammad Zubair, Kashan Iqbal, Hanif Musa, Sajid Abdul Qadir, Muhammad Shahid, and Irfan are in custody.
