Faisalabad Customs Adjudication issues ONO in favour of ASO

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Customs adjudication Deputy Collector Asma Hameed has issued Order in Original (ONO) in favour of Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO) Sara-e- Muhajir.

According to details, ASO team Sara-e- Muhajir impounded a vehicle bearing registration No. TLY- 148 loaded with Sogo Rechargeable Fan (assorted Model) 235 pieces and Audionic (Head phones) made in China.

On the physical examination the imported goods were recovered. The seizing agency confiscated that smuggled items according to under section 168 of customs Act-1969 for violation of other provision of law under section 16 and 18 of customs Act-1969 of the import and export control Act0-1950 punishable under section 156(1)90 of the custom Act-1969.

Meanwhile, on the basis of aforesaid facts Asmat ullah son of Fateh Khan (driver) resident of Dhoki kacha Tehsil and district Mianwali. Ghulam khan (Consigner/ Consignee) resident of Karachi as per bilty no. 029527 and (Consigner/Consignee) resident of Karachi as per bilty no. 013558 issued by Hazara Karachi goods Transport Company registered.

Munir Ahmad inspector was appeared before the adjudication form prosecution side while no one appeared from the respondent side and no any written reply has been received from the respondents so far. Therefore, the case is decided on the basis of the facts and material available.

Therefore, The Deputy collector Ms Asma Hameed Adjudication Faisalabad order for outright confiscation of seized head phone in favour of Federal Government under section 156(1)90 of the customs act 1969 read with SRO 566(1)/2005.
