ANF recovers 70kg hashish, 76kg opium at QICT

KARACHI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Sindh has foiled a major smuggling bid and recovered around 70 kilograms of high quality hashish and 76 kilograms of high quality opium from a container at Qasim International Container Terminal (QICT).

Mansoor Hassan Shaikh, Project Officer/DDRO ANF told Customs Today that an intelligence based operation was launched at QICT Karachi and recovered 70 kilogram high quality heroin and 76 kilogram of high quality opium from a container.

Mansoor said ANF apprehended one culprit on the spot and a case has also been registered against him.
