Two-day exhibition for women opens in Sialkot

SIALKOT: A two-day exhibition Tuesday opened with a large participation of women in the industrial city of the country.

Provincial Minister for Manpower, Raja Muhammad Ashfaq Sarwar inaugurated the exhibition complemented with a seminar, organised by Mojaz Foundation. The minister saw all the stalls and appreciated the efforts of women workers and managers to produce quality products.

Talking to the exhibitors, he said that such events were main source for promoting business and helped in introducing products among the people at home and abroad. The Minister said that Sialkot is playing an instrumental role in strengthening national economy through its exports and employment opportunities given to thousands of industrial workers.

Talking to media the Provincial Minister said that networking of women entrepreneurs through such platforms was vital and they must link their works with established retailers, trade houses, wholesale buyers and others in business.

The exhibition dispaying garments, textiles, fashion wear, handicrafts, readymade garments, food items etc drew large number of visitors to the venue at Social Welfare department office.
